CIRCULATION AND READERSHIP

MUSIC FOR THE LOVE OF IT is mailed or e-mailed six times a year to about 500 subscribers in the U.S.A. and twelve other countries. In addition, more than 5,000 copies of the February North American workshop directory issue are distributed to members of Amateur Chamber Music Players, Inc.

A reader survey found that our typical reader is an avid amateur instrumentalist, singer or composer, 60 years old, with over 16 years education. He or she owns an average of four instruments, spends over $1500 a year on musical expenses, and sings or plays more than three times a week.

The MUSIC WORKSHOP GUIDE received an average of over 5,400 visits per month in 2004, peaking in April at 6,900 visits. Its most popular interior page is its worldwide geographic listing of workshops, with location, dates and website link.
